OK, we all know that their are more Honda owners registered. Hell we had how many before the invasion? We just don't have many active at the moment.

I am all cool with the enemy, I mean DSMer's comin on over. The ones that are here so far are pretty damn cool. As long as we don't get any of the "Im to sexy for my car. What do you mean you don't drive a DSM? Leave my presence now!" folks, than I am all for it. Of course the same goes for the Honda guys too.

ok let me say... i have both a honda and an eclipse.

i have a 95 prelude
and a 90 GSX eclipse

the eclipse... its what i like to call a "mint-tu-be-shit"
(not all.. just mine)
sure its fast... but the problems i have run across w/ my eclipse i will never run across w/ my prelude.
I have a 12 second GSX... and let me say.. ITS FOR SALE...
Yeah i loved it.. and it probably wouldnt be all jacked up if my X wouldnt have taken it... immature a$$hole... :eek:
he blew the turbo, broke the back end from launching too hard, and the tranny is all jacked up...
(all is fixed now)... except
when he blew the turbo, it messed something up in the engine, most likely the cylinder head??? so instead of pushing 18psi, its pushing 9psi right now... just having some problems w/ it...

not trying to be rude.. but can some of you need to shrink your signatures... sh!t takes FOREVER to load... and im on a T1.... :rolleyes:

That sux about your car...oh yeah, add another DSM! if you wanna fix that GSX for cheap...try DSMtrader.com...LOTS of used stuff. goodluck with it. most 11 year old cars dont hold up too well...sure am glad mine has a ways to go!:)

the car was in perfect condition when i got it, new motor, new turbo, new internals, it was AWESOME..
no turbo lag, no nuthing..
my X got a BOV finally for it.. and he put it on, but from what i understand hes been selling parts on it.. for $$$$
so my EGT guage -SOLD
boost guage- SOLD
boost controller- SOLD

so what am i gonna do w/ the car now.. i dont have the car to put $$$ into it...
im sitting here waiting for my X to pay me for the car!!!!

I think I'll be on both sides of the force soon. I found a 1990 CRX for sale for $300. Since I need a winter beater, I'm really thinking about it. plus after spring time, I can build up that one too. Def. engine swap coming. It has 270,000 mi. Still seems to run ok but needs quite a bit of bodywork. I think there's more bondo on the outside than paint. For $300 I won't complain though, most that 5h1t can just be replaced :)

Cool.. man you gotta love those little CRX's they run for ever.. I had one and got rid of it. I put a racing clutch in it, that was the only thing done to it, it would break traction through 3 gears.. on a completely stock motor I could believe it.

yeah but, I'm just looking for something to beat on for the winter and MAYBE tear down, gut out and fix up in the spring. That all depends on what I end up getting. I WANT a CRX but don't NEED one. I already have a pretty decent car, I just don't want to drive it on snowy, salty roads. Plus, since I'm boostin, I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep it ON those snowy roads! :)

Yeah, that happened to me when I bought my first Eclipse. Got stuck with an AT and then I saw a 5 speed a month later WAY cheaper than I paid for my car.
