or in my case have one never will again. this is my official exit of the honda scene. i'll stop moding the car, or even fixing it. I had a lot of bad luck with my accord, and everything topped off today when i tried to change a wheel bearing and one of the front crossmembers came off on the left hand side. I'm getting quite fed up with it. I know not all the Hondas are this bad, but if i had bad luck with a product i'm never gonaa get one of the same brand again. I'm gonna go towards Subaru, and eventually get a Legacy 2.5 GT or a Impreza 2.5 RS. enough with the bad news, time to go to the good news: i'm gonna stick with you guys even after i get rid of the car.

Wether we are willing to admit it or not ( isure as hell am) We mod our hondas for two reasons cant afford better or like playing the role of a under dog the second is the only reason im considering a del sol or 96+ hatch either one would have a b18c1 swap fully built drag gen 3

I love my car, but in reality, though this has been good to me, I probably won't get a different one in the future.

Stefan, take a deep breath!

You werent lucky with your car.. ok.. But didnt you tell me you got it for kinda cheap and didnt know if it had a shady past..

Out of all the cars out there, you're car is made to be durable. And not many will do better than a honda (Saab, Volvo..)

You were unlucky, but thats it.. there isnt more to it.

I love my Accord and fortunately haven't had any problems...I owned 2 Toyotas, a Nissan, and a Honda and I think by far I been the most happiest with the Honda....just my opinion though...when I finally do decide to get something else, I don't know what I'll wind up with...

Life so short, so many cars. Gotta try something else, hondaman.

I'll probably switch soon also, but this board is pretty funny, so I'll keep lurking... :)

All cars are bound to have problems, especially used ones.

Without proper maintenance, etc. The life expectancy of a car can drop dramatically. I wouldnt blame it on the automobile maker as much as I would blame it on previous owners.:o

Get a bike man, nice dbr 600 f3, gsxr 1000, something not to big. They are cheap, quick, and even if they do break down, easy to fix.

I think the reasong we all buy hondas/acuras is that they are like legos. You can get a similar lego set and just start swapping out peices.

My though, go for a civic. They aren't that luxurious, but you can drop 5k into them and they'll sefice(sp)....

yeah i know i had bad luck with it, but this is not my fault. who thought taht part of the frame will come off ? i'm too broke to take it to a frame shop and have it done correctly. maybe i will keep the damn thing. as i was looking last night i can't find anything half decent in my price range ($6k). all i found were 2 subarus legacy gt 2.5's and 2 red SVX's with shit loads of miles on them. accords a lot of them but with the same mileage and about that old as mine were 6 grand too. if i were to trade mine in i would end up getting like 1800-2000 for it, plus my dad does not wanna hear about selling and getting a new car ( never buy a car and put it in your parent's name), so for a while i have to stick with this one, but i really want a legacy gt ;(
