I've only had my ride for a month or so but Ive been waxing it once a week. Is that enough or 2 much?

it is definitely enough, and i don't know for sure if you can overdo it. but once a week isnt going to have negative effects.
i normally do mine once a month, but the paint job is already crappy. however i just got a carbon fiber hood and am going to wax that a lot to preserve it for as long as i can. wanna keep those babies protected from not only filth but from the sun if possible. of course in portland we don't have to worry about the sun beating down on our rides particularly hard.;)

Now that I use Klasse, I've been slacking b/c it lasts much longer. Maybe once every 2 months on the whole car, or sometimes I'll just do a section everytime I wash.

Ive never heard of that wax before. It sounds like it works pretty good. Ive been using some Mothers products. What type of wax do all of you use?

I personally do it once a month and dont bother when its winter time out.

Its a 2 step process. First step is cleaner and the second is a sealant glaze. Search for Klasse to find more, very good stuff, but expensive.

last time i washed the caqr was 2 years ago. i used polyglicoat, and the car looks like it has 16 clear coats on it. it shines better then a lambo or a ferrarri

Wax once a week????? Wow your paint won't last long. You wax once a month at the most.. more is not always better.. if you do a decent job of waxing it should last 1-2 months if you wash it properly.

First off a wax protects the paint. Many waxes now are cleaner waxes, but if you want your car to shine like never before wash, POLISH, then wax. Remember polishing removes the very top layers of your paint and takes out stains, oxidation, etc. If you do a half ass job of waxing your car it won't protect the paint for shit. If you do a good job then it should be good for months. The easy way to tell is if water beads up when you spray water on your car.

Also, don't wash your car with soap. Regardless of what Mequiers, Turtle Wax, or any other brand say about their "non-stripping" car wash soap...they all strip wax. And for god's sake don't use laundry detergent or dish soap... use plain water.. I would have my car detailed then wash it with only water for 4 months after that, and people always asked me if I just had it detailed.... I know it sounds nuts but use only water.
