Anyone ever heard of maxspeed coilovers or dropzone coilovers? Or HP coilovers? Are they any good? I heard skunk2 is the best but hell, they cost almost $300. Maxspeed and dropzone are about $100.

I just want to know anyone has experienced with maxspeed or dropzone. thanks

I have no experience with them. Coilover sleeves in general are crap, so if you're going to buy them, get Ground Control or Skunk2. You'll need expensive struts to go with coilover sleeves. If you don't have the money, get springs/struts instead.

$100 coilovers are going to be 100% pure crap.

I suppose eibachs are the best spring? What are the struts for?

Ok .. Bottom line is, what should I get, Coilovers or Springs? I live in hawaii and theres alot of speedbumps around here. If I get springs, will my car be able to go over the speed bumps?

Hondamaniac..i didnt get what u typed

yeah, with springs you should be able to make it over the bumps. you asked what struts are for right ? so i told you that struts are reffered as shocks and dumpers too. maybe one of those terms will ring a bell to u

Don't get coilover sleeves unless you can afford GC sleeves and some nice Koni struts (~$850 total). If you can afford that, you could get true coilovers. Just get some Eibach sportlines or prokit and some decent KYB struts and you'll be happier with the ride quality.

yes. the 2 have different drops: prokits 1.3" and the sportlines drop like 1.8". spring rates are the same

lol..that just brings up another question. I want my car to go lowest possible. Meaning I want it to go low enough so when I turn, my tires dont hit the fenders. Is the prokit not low enough or is the sportline too low?

hmm i think you will be happier with the sport lines. the prokit does not lower the car enough ( at least on mine)

If you want low, the sportlines are for sure the way to go. Pro-kits don't give much of a drop.
