ok i have 600 to spend on the car. i can get springs and shocks( can't afford to have them put on or to buy th camber kits yet), get a new hood, have not decided on which one, or i could buy a new amp because mine is old and not working to good. so tell me what you would do.

here is what the car looks like now

good set of full coilovers not separate units...although it will cost you about 250 more its well worth it for the adjustability. if not that then i would surely go with the hood over the amp beucase although the amp doesnt work as well as it used to...it still does and if you ask me...work that audio equipment as long as it can, because people arent gonna compliment you on the sound your car has when its sitting there but they will compliment you on the hood whether its sitting or driving.;)

whoever told you that a bright background with bright text works, was wrong.

springs/shocks....why would you pay someone to put them in? thats a waste.
GC's w/ kyb agx's = OK!

yeah the agx/gc setup is about $150 less and will run you $700 or so. where you could pick up a set of Apexi WS full coilovers (height and damper adjust) for $850. Dont ask me where (probably from groupbuycenter) 94_Accord_EX told me that one; I know that H&R full coilovers are $850 at OptionsAuto. You'll probably need the camber kit with them to as basically its the same principal just on a more advanced setup (if you want to think of it that way).

Springs/Shocks

Either go with the GC & AGX combo or get KONI Yellows & H&R springs. I have the KONI Yellows & H&R OE Sports (.75"). I love it. Enough to subtract some wheel gap on my 17's, but leave the car a daily driver. I had Eibach Sportlines prior. It was too low. THen again I drive alot too.

If you don't drop it below 1.2" you should be ok on camber.

im dropped 2.5" and have no uneven tire wear and only a camber kit in the rear - 1 washer per bolt.

dont have the equipment - you dont have some wrenches?
alignment is done at a reputable alignment shop - Big10Tires, DiscountTireDirect, etc.....

What do you guys recommend for brands of coilovers?

I was thinking Skunk2

With your price range, go with a spring/strut combo. The true coilovers for $850ish do not have damping adjustability.

well i have wrenches but i have never done anything with suspension before and i don't want to mess it up. i though you need a spring compresor and all tis other special equipment. but i will do some resource and find out how to do and then maybe give it a shot.

okay, i have the GC coil over and AGX-KYB combo. i cant complain. it cost me $299 for the GC and $320 for the struts. it cost me ZERO for the installation. it's a great combo believe it or not.

Skunk2 and weaponR coilovers are somewhat bumpy, especially the weaponR. i'm in the process of doing research on camber kits. for the most part, civic front camber kits are averaging between $150-180. Ingalls, Skunk2, Sprint, Progress Group, and Eibach are some of the companies. The rear camber is an easy fix and will cost you less than $5 from PEP boys. check out the these links to give you more info:
