i have an A'PEXi N1 muffler for sale. works for all piping sizes up to 3". Only used for 1.5 years ... no rust, cracks, dents, or other defects! Selling because i wanted something a little less aggressive. Sounds great and performs like none other. It was installed on my '97 Civic so that it exits straight out under the bumper. however, any muffler shop can modify the existing hangers for you. Comes with a silencer and sticker, too. :) Only asking $135 SHIPPED. nothing is wrong with it. i'm in orangevale, CA 95662. pics are below. e-mail if interested at gook_x@hotmail.com

Dude, if you still have this in say 2-3 weeks, Imight get it.
I just got my car and looking for a muffler.
You see my piping is still stock so can I put this on the stock piping and upgrade that later?
And also, how loud of a noise does this make. I HATE those really loud ones. I want somethign with performance, and not too much noise gain. How does the silencer work and does it take out the performance?
One more q if you dont' mind tellin me, is why you're sellin it?

Yeah, it'll work with your stock piping. Just have a muffler shop weld it on for you.
It's loud if you're using it without a resonator. If you have an exhaust resonator, it's a very bassy exhaust. However, any straight-through muffler used on piping without an exhaust resonator will be loud, so there's no real way of getting around it. My suggestion is to use an exhaust resonator, which you should, anyway. It'll cut down on the fart noise we all hate. :)
The silencer just goes into the tip of the muffler. A screw, nut, and washers are included. You merely line up the hole in the tip with the hole in the silencer, stick the screw through the hole, and tighten it down with the provided nut. Oh, and you're supposed to use the washers, too; well, you don't have to, but A'PEXi included them. That's it. Very easy and quick. Helps cut down on noise A LOT. Trust me, these silencers work. I never noticed a loss in performance. I gained a lot of low-end, though. I think it's due to the increased backpressure. You might lose some high-end, but I never noticed it.
Lastly, I'm selling it because I'm trying to make my car more sleeper-ish, so I wanted to go with an oval muffler that looked pretty stock. There's nothing wrong with it; I just didn't want people to know my car was too modified, you know? It's a great muffler. Race-proven design by a race-proven company.

How much does a resonator cost and where about on the exchaust does it go?
I'm just trying to find out since I don't want to be one of those "hey look, it's another punk thinking he's fast since he got a loud muffler" hehe

The cost really depends on the shop. You can usually get them for like $30-40, though. They're very cheap, and any muffler shop can weld it in for you. They are placed after the cat. If you look at your stock exhaust, there should be a big box-looking thing in between your cat and muffler ... somewhere along that snaking exhaust piping. That'll be the resonator. It can also be shaped as a cylinder, doesn't always have to be in the form of a box.
Let me know if you have anymore questions. I'll be glad to answer them.:)

Ok, that sounds good! If you can wait about 1 more week, I just have to finish something to get money from it and then I can get it.
How is this done though?
I mean I never bought anything online before!

Don't flake on me! :D Anyway, you can send me a personal check, but I'll have to wait for it to clear before I can ship the muffler out. Or you can send me a money order from your local post office. You just go in there and tell them you need a money order for $XX.XX, pay them that amount, and they'll write you up a money order. Either way works. One guy sent me cash once when he was buying my stock headlights. I don't recommend that for obvious reasons. But if you don't want it, anymore or something then let me know. Thanks. :)
Oh, and when you have the money, e-mail me for my address so you can ship me the money. I'll also need your address, too. but yeah, if you can't buy it for whatever reason then please let me know.
