what is the difference between ceramic coated headers and stainless steal?....dont just say stainless are better...cuase i kno...but will it affect performance wise ?

nah, not thaqt i can think of. as far as i know the ceramics will crack making the headers looking like crap. usually the ceramic coating is there just to keep the temperature under the hood a bit lower.

Ceramics keep underhood temps slightly lower, but its not worth the problems. Stainless is the way to go.

That's not the only reason a cracked header will be a problem.

okay a ceramic is about $120....stainless is about $400....is it really worth 300 more for stainless thou?

i wanna see that. usually 120 is the price difference between stainless and ceramic. ceramic is more expensive

Pretty sure stainless is more expensive (DC at least).

what about the rust factor? is there a way to keep the "stainless steel" ones from rusting? i mean i would see the reasoning behind buying a header that is actually STAINLESS STEEL. not stainless blend or whatever its called. anybody know of any co. that makes real stainless steel ones?
