yes that is right i wasted 2 master cylinders within 200 miles. I have heard some say that some of the heavier aftermarket clutches are too abusive on the slave and master but has anyone ever had this much of a problem? I run a ACT Xtreme pressure plate and a 4 puck disk. Has anyone put on some serious miles with a heavy clutch? Im trying to debate on weater it was just a defective maste to begin with or if I need some sort of heavier master cylinder. Is the Type R master any stronger (I doubt it)and will it fit in my 97 LS.

I've put over 15,000 miles on my Centerforce with many many many power shifts. No problems yet. 5000 miles N/A, 10,000 miles Turbo.

Plus my turbo is mounted reverse (compressor on drivers side, turbine on passenger side), so my downpipe actually hits the slave's nipple near the rad fan when shifting hard. I figure it would've ****ed up by now, but so far so good.

I'll let you know if something happens.
