I need to get a new alarm keychain clicker for an alarm I installed. Can all clickers be programmed to an alarm, or are there only a certain kind or something that can be used for a particular brand?
I got a generic brand off eBay (and one of the clickers doesnt work) so I didn't know the route I should take. The battery isn't dead, the alarm just won't accept the clicker.
Please help!

first off you need to call them REMOTES no one knows the term "clicker" when i hear clicker i think of those things they push as you walk into the gates of a fair to see how many people attend each day.
2nd you gotta find out the make and model of your alarm and then you goto the company and they will give you a new one and give you programming instructions

Oh thank you so much for your wise information BrandonClaps... I see you were only playing around with me in your post and this is only the internet so I can let things go. I'm a big boy now. I now know that since i have a "generic" alarm (but there really is no such thing since they all have names) I must either
A. Get up into the dash and find out what kind of an alarm I have
B. Live with it
C. Get a new alarm
BrandonClaps, thanks again for your wisdom!
Reason For Edit: Don't bash me, I was only joking around, calm down.

go to remotes unlimtied (http://www.remotesunlimited.com) they should be able to help you out if you want to buy another one. they also might be able to tell you how to reset the signal to match that of the alarm.
at least the alarm that i had way back in 1995 i was able to get a remote hold one of the buttons down and them use the other remote to set the alarm to program that remote.
hope this helps a little.
