Is the Talon made by Eagle??Also what is the actual quarter mile ET stock,I've heard everything from 12.7-14.2???Could the 14 be stock and the 12 be w/ somekind of options package??

yes eagle makes talons no i dont know anything else about them but that theyre ugly little things and my friend had one but it broke down so now he drives his parents lincoln lol :D

they might be ugly but they are really fast.... i dont know the quarter mile it runs stock... it wouldnt suprise me if it ran 14.5

A Talon, laser, and eclipse are all pretty much the same thing rebadged through various car makers. The looks are a little different for all of them, but they all have pretty much the same motor.

A talon can have the same Turbocharged DSM motor that the Eclipse GST, and GSX has. The stock AWD Talon is capable of High 14s or so. While the stock FWD is capable 15s depending on the driver.

THey are the same.. I dunno about today's talon, but my roommate had one and it was the slowest car I ever drove.. it had some kinda greddy exhaust, and prob did 18s in the 1/4. Nothing but problems from it, and again.. slowest car I ever drove..

Wasnt the Turbocharged model was it? Cause they NA Talons are slow.:yes:

14.9 for the awd 15.0 for the fwd. the awd drive train slows it down top end big time.

Maybe a little, but its still plenty fast enough.. My friend had his GSX over 150mph several time, he said it was still pulling, but he got scared.:D

well... you can make them faster.. but the fwd will pull harder upper end.. jsut a powerloss and weight issue, still fast as hell. just WATCH OUT the transfer cases arnt exactly top quality.

No...FWD and non turbo... but nowhere near 15 in the 1/4 ..was seriously the slowest car I have ever driven.. my dads 82 caddy was faster..

they made fwd turbo modles... my friend has one that runs 14.1's with abour 1000 invested into the engine

Yeah, there is a TSI and a TSI AWD. These are the Turbocharged models. TSI is FWD T/Ced, and TSI AWD is well, I think you can figure it out.

The NA models are dogs. I think they maybe slower then civics, eventhough that maybe hard to believe.:D

i ve lost to a talon before....he had SHIT done.. u heard that thing 4 miles away...i dunno if it was turbo..cause he shaved everything so i didnt see the turbo sign on the side....i also didnt hear a turbo ..maybe cause he was in front for the most part lol....ive beaten a few also...:yes:

Were did I get the whole 12.7 stock thing from??I could of sworn I heard someone say they had a stock Talon runnin 12.7 all day long.

Neh, not stock. The Talons are perfectly capable of those speeds, but not stock.
