I have to get a scattershield and soon because the track officials are starting to really bust my chops about not having one. I know that STR makes one but it is unavailable everywhere because they are moving or going out of business (I have been given a ton of excuses these are the most popular). Is there any other company that makes one that is legal to run into the 10s?

Try these:
Impo Performance (http://www.impoperformance.com/service_dept/asi/special_savings/engine_work/monthly_specials/body_scattershield.html) - They make their own, and say they have them instock..
&
Gofastparts.com - B&M (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/gofast/bmscat.html)

Much thanks they are only an hour and a half away from me. I may give the tranny a spin and fetch me a scattershield on Saturday.
