Cisco is a good stock to buy right now they're fairly low, as is Gateway. Both companies have a strong base and large assets with almost 0 debt. They can take a hit and still go on its only a matter of time before the stocks rebound. Any how I think Cisco is kind of like ORACLE its a network/database company. Don't depend on it too hard Mobbo b/c there's other certifications you have to get before you can get a job and you also have to constantly renew it as technology advances. But hey don't get discouraged getting one during HS is a pretty big accomplishment.

I'm interested in certifications also, but I'd need a class to learn some stuff first. Can anyone tell Mobbo more?

if you let me know what kind of stuff you're covering in class i can tell you which cert you'll be getting - my guess is CCNA. the only problem with getting your cert in highschool is that they only last 3 years, so by the time you're ready to find a job you'll have to be re-certified at least once.
