Accord 2002 Suspension Question

Ok. My friend owns a Honda Accord 2002 and he recently put Cosmo Racing dual spring coilovers on. Now whenever he goes over bumps he hears a "thud" noise like its bottoming out.

As an owner of a 2002 Maxima I know your suppose to shave the bumpstops so this won't happen, but I don't know if its the same on Accords. Any instructions or suggestions?

yep you gotta cut them in half to avoid the "thump"

Ok my car they are attatched to the dustcover. He removed the dustcovers from his struts, are they located elsewhere?

i don't know too much about the car, but i've heard they are one piece with the dust cover.
