hi all new to the site i am going to be buying a honda here before winter kicks in i am looking at a civic 4 door or a prelude 82-88. just wondering if some one could tell me any thing to look for. are the engines good in these cars?do these cars have the same engine? known problems that these years have? any and all info would be greatly appreciated!! thanks

why look into such an old honda? i even don't see them on the road anymore. look into something newer, they still have lower prices. you should look for basic things like how the engine is running, if it has any blow by, how the drive shafts are.

well here in calgary alberta canada these are the only years that i can afford, i am using it as a winter car but will fixer up and do a bit to it over time. my moneys very limited with just getting married and buying a house and the credit cards and ect..ect..ect..
so these are the O)NLY years i can afford ..anybody on here drive older ones like these?
