the h22 will be better by far, even thou it will cost more to have it put in, but think about the torque it produces. b18's are anywhere from 140 hp to 170 hp depending on the head version.

ok i got the specs
H22 and 5speed and GSR header and mounts
2300 + 600+ 300=$3200
197hp/162tq
^80lb heavyer
B18 and 5 speed and Header
2950+300=$3250
170hp/126tq uses same mounts
the H22 will be alittle more to put in if i dont do it my self (i dont have the time and realy the no how to do it so )

there's a whole bunch of other stuff you need when doing a swap especially with the h22. To do the h22 swap right it'll cost somewhere about $5000 of you do the work yourself then you can add labor if someone else does it.
Its just a little cheaper to go with the GSR engine. About 800$ cheaper.

I am looking at spending upwards of 10 grand at first to get this project going I curently am wanting to do a swap on my 96 ex but am looking at trading a friend for his 94 ex so first i have to figure out what i want to do with that and when i figure it out to do the swap
and the 10k is just for motor work ONLY!! and looking for a reliable 350whp street car and a 450+ drag car
cause this will be my dayly driver but i also have a few othere cars i can drive if this so happens to go on me
So i want a high hp motor but I also want it to be the most reliable for those hp ratings
i am wanting to do turbo/intercooler and alot of ppl are telling me to stay away from the juice so thats what i have to work with and thanks for your imputs guys

b18c = autoX
h22= Draq
h22 is harder to do. it'll cost you. b18c is the way to go man. you don't need a type r. it's a waste of money. check out my buddies site. whatever you get, get it from him. jdmclub.com
he's in tampa, fl.

With 10k$ you should be in the 11's.

Tell me how you would go about that. I'm assuming engine swap + rebuild for turbo / sc + boost = 11s... Is that where you were going with that thought? Let me know! Thanks!

Yes, if you took a h22 did a little rebuilding so it could handle good boost and then slapped a turbo on it, you could easily make 400hp. Add slicks and axles that won't break then you should be in the 11's. Or take that same built h22 and save some money and get a decent nitrous set up and do it that way.
