...pay for your school ? i tried working for the past years but i noticed that that wasn't the way to do it so i finally decided to get a loan for this year and whatever i'm working will be pocket money. all the time i did work to pay i hardly had anytime to study, and all the extra money and some of the college money were going to the Honda fund. just out of curiosity how do you pay for it ?

Thats pretty gay...I think anything where you are trying to better your life, they should help you out...

And Zybach...not everyone can get scholarships...

hopefully they won't realize that, or i'm gonna have to sleep in my car for a while:crazy:

seriously i looked at the terms and they seem reasonable. this semester and next one if i do damn well i might get the financial aid back, and even get some scholarships.

A loan isn't that bad - at least you know you have to do well because it's your a$$ if you can't graduate and get a job to repay the loans.

I had some little scholarships, loans for most of it, and worked p.t. like 8-10 hrs/week to cover expenses.

for case little scolarships ? you must have had big ass scolarships to cover the 30k/yr tuition. i'm a bit in luck cause i'm at CSU and the tuition is 5500/yr. did u live at home or on campus ?

On campus (home was far, far away).

Yeah, the scholarships were big ass - about 16k/yr grants plus a little more for research stipends. Little is a relative term. I only have about 10k loans left to pay off.

I also found that some private scholarships (like, from foundations and stuff) were available only to 3rd-4th yr students... I got some money from that (almost offset the tuition raises).
