(Putnam-AP, Aug. 20, 2002 9:50 AM) _ State police say a motorcyclist from Thompson has died after his bike collided with a car in Putnam.

Police say that 54-year-old Thomas Mahon was traveling northbound on Route 21 about seven last night when the accident occurred.

He died later on the operating table, shortly after eleven last night.

** I read this in the local news a few days ago **

Listen to this.......

In a small town (Eden) right near me there was a motorcycle fatality. So this mother heres this and knows her kid was riding a motorcycle right around there and starts freaking out. She calls his cell and says he is alright. 10 minutes later a 16 year old girl misses a stop sign and kills him.

just happened this week, very sad, i wanted a motorcycle really bad but all of this stuff is changing my mind.

WTF, thats majorly freaky.

I was also saving up for a bike + license..

But, I dunno anymore..

A while ago I decided not get a bike, because I know I'll take the bike to it limits.. And thats not very safe.. But so many of my friends ride bikes, it sparked that interest again..
