Seriously, there's nothing like ruining good macaroni salad by putting celery in it. Sorry. I'm just really mad about it right now.

Sorry, this is in no way shape or form a sexual topic. I posted it in the wrong forum. But if you use your imagination, macaroni salad can be sexual macaroni salad.

A little bit of celery in my life. A little bit of celery by my side. Sorry. Remember that song Mambo # 5?? I was just reminded of it.

It's strange. When I was little, I used to like celery. The taste of it now is just nasty. It's gross. The only celery that I can handle is celery in like chicken soup or something that's all cooked. But when I was little I used to hate mustard but now I like it...?

It is strange how all that works isnt it. There are tons of things I used to hate when I was growing up. Now Ill eat almost anything. That probably comes from me living on my own, it makes you not so picky when you have to pay for the stuff.

I lived on my own for a little while. All I ate was pasta and ramen noodles. I seriously lost mad weight. That's gross too because I'm already thin. I live back at home now but if I want good food I have to buy it because my mom is a health freak. It's all about CHEESE SANDWICHES!!! So good. Not grilled cheese either. Just like 2 pieces of cheese on some bread w/a little mayo.

Ahhhhhhhhhggggggggrrrrr. I'm so hungry right now. Rob won't let me eat until I milk the cows, feed the pigs, harvest the fields, cut the lawn, do the laundry and paint the house. When I finish my chores, he like it's it when I rub his feet. He has a long day and he's a hard worker. He drinks beer in a stained wife beater all day in front of the T.V. His favorite are reruns of The Price is Right. No, but seriously my lunch here at work is in 45min!! :)

Celery is the magic veggie. It takes more calories to digest celery than celery contains. Negative calorie food.
Gotta love that. ;)
I can't stand it when they put celery in tuna or chicken salad or something like that...it's just anoyying eating your smooth tuna and then al of a sudden, some crunchy celery pops into your mouth...it sucks...and you never expect it either

THAT'S WHAT HAPENNED TO ME LAST NIGHT!!! I was eating really goog macaroni salad with chicken in it and then all of a sudden, I tasted it. I felt it. I got loud with my mom. She said that she "forgot" that she put it in there.

msvtec14
08-20-2002, 01:45 PM
No, I did not beat my mom up over putting celery in my macaroni salad. THAT SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING MT.BIKER WOULD DO TO ME THOUGH. Hey, I wonder what happened to the guy with the Pontiac...?

In college, i went home for a week in the summer, and my roommate stayed at our place. When i get back i dive into the fridge and take the milk out and proceed to drink from the container. Here, my roommate never touched the milk, and You guessed it, mouthful of curd and weigh.

Wow, I feel bad for you! It's pretty safe to assume that I would throw up on the spot if that hapenned to me. When I went to our summer home w/my friends, I had to clean out the fridge for all the beer. I found milk in there. I don't even want to know how old it was. It was not even liquid anymore. I couldn't even pour it out. So gross. I was gagging. :pukey

Honestly, I'm not an evil or mean person and I love my mom A LOT. But if my mom let me drink some nasty ass milk when she knew about it, I'd really have the urge to pour some on her. Or just hold it up to her nose or something.

:D :D This thread has turned quite funny..
I always check dates before using.
My wife packs my lunches for me in the morning. Sometimes she wouldnt turn the light on just packs it by the morning light coming through the window, well she didnt realize that the bread had gotten moldy over the weekend. I pull my sandwich out of the container and about gagged, green and white bread just isnt for me.. It couldnt be saved it was all over it.
Needless to say, she turns the light on from now on.:o

Yo, I feel your pain. One night I stumbled in my house and just started eating this roll and I went upstairs with it and I turned the light on and...it looked very festive with the nice colors of mold on it. I threw it and started yelling.

Damn...I remember the day when someone used to make my lunch for me everyday.....ahhhh those were the days.
Back to the topic at hand though...to solve the whole possibility of celery being in your macaroni salad....just don't eat the nasty stuff. I don't know how anyone eats macaroni or potato salad. They smell gross, they look gross....Yuck I just don't like "salads" like that.:pukey

You guys should meet my friend Steve. He took ten bucks to drink a glass of rotten milk. (Er...maybe you shouldn't meet him.) Have you ever seen the "fat camp" episode of South Park? Kenny does anything for money. Steve's kinda like that.

there are a good many "negative calorie" foods. Sure they might now have wonderful nutritional value...but at least you aren't getting the calories.
