Hi,

I am having car starting problems related to fuel. Being a little mechanically inclined, I isolated the problem by checking the plug wires and all items related to electrical. It seems the battery has enough juice, the spark is good at every plug, all plugs were replaced a month ago.

Now, in terms of fuel, I have no good idea except to check fuel filter and pump. I know the pump is in the tank, but I could not find the filter. Can someone tell me where it is and can a clogged filter cause intermittent starting problems. If I wait for ten minutes after I am experiencing starting problems, the car starts up right away.

I appreciate your help, thank you!!!

does the car fail to start only when it's warm ? you could have a bad EFI relay that fails to activate the pump when starting
