Now I know some of you are going to get up in a knot over the fact that I liked this movie and not xXx but i generally liked this movie. This might be because I just got back from Hawaii about a month ago and i still really miss it, or the fact that i want to surf so badly its driving me crazy. I did though like it.
I wouldn't say this movie is for everyone but if you surf, been to hawaii or just like these types of movies i'd go check it out.
On the bad side though, some of the editting is horible. At one point when shes surffing you can tell its not her because the face is messed up (her double) and some shots when she has the lease (connects her to her board) is there and then not there.

it brings back alot of memories. I didn't say a word durring the movie at all as i watch is memories flooded my mind. If you've ever been up on a board your gonna have the same problem. The background (hawaii) is breath taking to say the least. You might be disappointed that you dont see much of Hawaii though because its a surffing movie. One think i liked is i saw place i was just at :)
For some reason i'm getting a bad rap as someone who wont pay to see a movie, well i paid to see this one because i thought i should give the movie industry some money. I picked a good film it would seem to spend it on and heres my ticket to prove it.

btw i bet none of you know how the surfer wave started. You know the thumb and pinky wave? well it started many many years back by a surfer who only had two fingers on his right hand. It kinda just became a sign that fellow surfers used to save "wazz up dude"
