Camber kits

i just want some opinnions on the camber kits available: so far i found sprint and ingals. which ones are better. i really need one for the front.

Ingalls is a true tried and tested product.. cant go wrong with it..

Spint, I dunno anybody who uses them, but I think its a lower quality product.. But am not sure of this.

maybe i won't get them right away. i would get the ingalls but they don't offer that much adjustability i need. i think i have close to 2 degrees as of now.

if you need extreme adjustability...i would go with Intrax Extreme Camber kit...i have it for my teg....it offer +1.75- -3.25 degrees of correction....

where did u get them from ?

i found sprint has the +2 to -3.5

I got them from a parts store in my area...i am sure you could find them online though.....

I just found a place to get 2 rear extreme Sprint camber kits for 87 dollars shipped!! If anyone is interested let me know. I'm waiting for them as you read.

i got mine front and end for 155. i must say that the rear is just like the home depot camber kit ( longer screw and some washers), and for the front they sent me the anchor bolt kit.

When you lower your car, the camber will become out of spec. If the camber is too far out of spec, you can't adjust it with the stock hardware, so you have to add a camber kit :)

Camber is when your wheel is no longer straight up and down....when you lower a car...it creates NEGATIVE camber..that is when your wheel kinda tilts in at the top....that will make your tires wear really fast on the inside.....POSITIVE camber is when the top tilts out...VERY rarely does this happen when you lower a car....however...camber isnt the only problem that arises out of altering the stock ride height of a vehicle....you also have TOE-IN...in which your wheels angle in towards each other....kinda like turning your steering wheel...but the both turn in towards each other...instead of in one direction or another.....then you have the most complicated of the 3..CASTER...Caster is the angle to which the steering pivot point is tilted forward or rearward from vertical, as viewed from the side. If the pivot Point is tilted backward (that is, the top pivot is positioned farther rearward than the bottom pivot), then the caster is positive; if it's tilted forward, then the caster is negative....hope this helps clear things up for ya bro.....:yes:

This dude at my old work claimed that there is no need to waste money on lowerign springs, he will cut his springs in the future!

tell him if he will remove the springs completely his car will look m4d TiT3, and will save a lot of complications ithat he will have with cutting the springs;) :crazy:

My car is dropped 2.75" all around, and the I have the Ingalls, front and rear. MAgnificent product that does its job extremely well.

I just got the Sprint rears. And it was an arm, not just washers. I'm going to install them this weekend. $87 is not bad at all.

wow. i got my sprints too and the rear are washers and the front are anchor bolts, not balljoints as advertised

i need some for the front too. i'm undecided. the progress group seems okay. i spent $5 for the rear. went to PEP boys and bought longer grade 8 bolts and a few washers. if you want to know how to do it, click on this link:

I just got done installing my Sprint kit. My camber is better...I eyeballed it when I finished installing. No problems with rusty bolts thanks to PB Blaster! I need to take the car to a shop and get it aligned to make sure everything is set right.
