I heard that there is no point in getting headers if you plan on turbo charging it.

WHY??

that is correct. the exhaust manifold will take the place of the headers.

exhaust manifold is where the turbo assembly will be bolted on to. the bottom side of the turbo assembly is the downpipe, which is the component that will re-attach to the exhaust system....

i guess what people need to understand is, if your heart is set to get a turbocharger system, do not waste money on aftermarket intakes and headers. it will be of NO use with a turbo kit.......

intakes as well? so if u hava a AEM CAI u might as well git rid of it if ur getting a turbo? what will replace it?

that will be replaced by the piping from the turbine to the intercolaah ;) and from that to the trottle body

what about superchargers? you can still get header, intake and exhaust with that right?
