I have a turboed D16 del sol. It's nice to see someone else out there with a turbosol. I don't see too many.

That black car is a defenate sleeper.

and derik, if you need any advice on installing or tuning your car with the turbo let me know. I found tons of ways to make the car run better through trial and error.

I'm talking about free ways to make the car run better. Adjustments and etc...

I also have tons of extra parts laying around that I ordered and decided not to use. Including body parts, rims, a wing, seats...

Hey guys, i am new to this forum and i had a question for any other del sol owners out there:

Del sol's are said to have really good gas mileage, but mine for some reason doesn't. instead of getting about 30 mpg i get probably 20, if that.

the only thing i have done to my car is putting a K&N filter on it, and i doubt that would decrease the mileage so dramatically. has anyone else noticed that their del sol gets crappy gas mileage?

I don't know about really GOOD gas mileage. I just checked mine the other day and it was about 29.95 miles per gallon. (Mostly cruising city) Good gas mileage to me is about 35+. And hey DelSolVtec, do you have a list of stuff you have that you don't want? I am wondering because i need to work on my car. I am already talking to some guys about a custom fiberglass box for 2 12" alpine type r woofers. Well thanks.

Well yeah del sol's are supposed to have "decent" gas mileage..
I don't know what mine is or how to check

BAD GAS MILLAGE CAN BE DO TO MANY OF THINGS....USALLY IT HAS TO DO WITH WHAT KIND ASSPERATION YOUR CAR IS GETTING ....FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU HAVE A RAM AIR INTAKE OR A COLD AIR INTAKE THE CAR HAS TO WORK LESS TO GET AIR WICH MEANS LESS GAS ....SAME WITH YOUR EXHAUST....sO TO IMPROVE YOUR GAS MILAGE YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR INTAKE AN EXHAUST...........
