Ok i posted at another sight how i wanted to drop a 84 lude engine in my 91 Accord. and they informed me that it was illegal. Now i wanna know why and/if it really is? is it just because of emissions? or is there truly a law out there that states that you cannot take a old engine and put it in a newer car? im so confused!~!!;(

yeah thre is a law saying that you cannot put an older engine in a newer car, nor you can put an engime with more miles on a car that has less miles. And let me ask you something ? why an 84 prelude engine ? where is the gain. i know lude engines are the cool thing to do but not that old engines

he can go up to 96 h22 without too much of a hassle. the 96 and newer need to be converted from ODBII to ODBI

Is an '84 Prelude engine even fuel injected? Does it put out over 100 hp? ;-)

actually most of the swaps are manual. all you need is a clutch, clutch master cylinder, and the clutch cable

the 84 lude isnt worth the swap, your accord engine is better. now a h22..... you'll cream yourself. i jumped from a f22 to a h22 (2 different preludes) and i cant tell you how happy i am that i did
