well, yesterday about 40 mins before i had to leave for work, i got to drive my moms bf's TT lotus esprit. words cannot describe that car. it was absolutly perfect. no power steering or power breaks, and at first it was kinda a odd thing, but i wouldnt trade it for power after i drive that car. i was crusing down to this back road where he said i could "open it up" and we past the stoplight then its about 7 miles of NOTHING. a 4 lane devided road thats perfectly flat with a little soft soft turn (turning you from N to NNE(north north east)) anyways, i punch it in 2nd going about 45 and shift to 3rd see 1 bar fly up, throw it to 4th (BOV's behind your head sound weird, mid engine car) then i look at the speedo, and in my car for the time i spent going, i'd be at 75,80 still in 3rd... well i saw the speedo climb 120-125-130-135 in about 2 seconds. i was like.. ohhh shit, he was like, it handles good at this speed dosnt it. i slowed back down crused around town looking for some fun turns. found a nice 90 degree off turn onto a major road, something my car can do at 50, come into it at 65 and punch it through the turn and i was at about 70-75 at the apex. do you guys know what NO BODY ROLL at that speed feels like? it was the BEST high ive ever had. he said he test drove the NSX that car and the 328 ferarri's and that outperformed the other 2 with flying colors. he does SCCA racing for fun in daytona, morroso sebring.... so he knows how to drive a car. then, getting back into my mid 14 sec prelude.... the gearbox felt like a truck, i thought i was driving a yugo, there was no force holding me back in my seat, oh btw, this car dosnt chirp gears, it gives you whiplash, overall my outlook at my car and its speed and handling, which i usta think was very good, has been shot down and fell like a rock.....

I have the same feeling when I drove the LUDE. I went back to my car...and even though it's an ok car...it felt like shit the first few days. Don't worry...you'll get used to it :)

the car rides very nice but i guess it's a bit too stiff for my taste. the best ones i've ever had are the m3's and m5's. ohh let's not forget the 840's too

I'd rather get used to the lude becuase I prolly wouldn't be able to control that car :D

there was actualy no conrol problem in that car. i had more of a difficulty conroling my car at the same speeds than that one. the car feels like your going 1/2 the speed your actualy going in it.
