I have about 100-150 bucks and my car is brand new. I have a 02 civic ex 2 door it's a 5 speed and blah blah blah. Everything is stock absolutely no mods. It needs tint like no tomorrow so I'm going to get that done first DEFINITELY. Anyway, what are some recommendations for a very good mod at my price range (100 dollar range). I've looked at intake and stuff but I know alot of people have done that and they said its more of a cool noise thing. I might end up just spending all that money in appearance but I wouldn't mind getting my car a little bit faster. The engine hasn't quite set in so I haven't really seen what it can do yet. All I know is it is bitchin fast on the freeway! Well, thanks for the suggestions.

An AEM cold air intake is more than a cool noise thing, and I think its the best bang for the buck, at least it was on my car.

I would have to agree w/ an AEM CAI on your ride..it might have a cool noise but you will pick up a couple ponies w/ the install of it.

Or you could get upgraded wires for a better spark and response..that's all I could think of right off hand besides other mods which cost more..Exhaust,headers etc..

Congrats on the new purchase and good luck w/ your future mods...

Amen to that, brotha! Save up a few more bills, and take the cheap street performance course at Thunderhill. If you're not from CA, you probably don't know what I'm talking about, so find a SCCA group nearest you, and enroll in a driving school from them. But they usually expect you to already have gone through at least some sort of driving school, so search around your area and find one. Bettering yourself is probably the best thing you can do for your car.
