Sherlock Holmes and his eternal companion, Dr. Watson, go on a camping trip. Midway through the day, they stop by a stream and notice some animal tracks. Holmes looks down, and says, "Watson, what do these tracks tell you?"
Watson looks at the tracks and says, "a small fox went by here, male, with a limp is it's left rear leg. Why, what do they tell you?"
Holmes smirks and says, "well done, but you didn't notice the other track partially destroyed by the fox track.... it was chasing a field mouse."
At the end of the day, they make camp and go to sleep. AT midnight, Holmes wakes up and reaches over and wakes up Watson.
"Watson," Holmes says, "what do you see?"
Watson murmers, "I see thousands and thousands of stars."
Holmes nods, and says, "and what does that tell you?"
Watson takes a deep breath and says, "astrologically, it tells me Piecies is visable and that we're looking at the north. Meteorologically, it tells me everything is clear and we should have a nice day tomorrow. Theologically, it tells me God is powerful and beautiful." He pauses for a breath. "Why? What does it tell YOU?"
Holmes says, "Watson, you bloody idiot, it tells me that someone has stolen our tent!"
