View Full Version : 91 Accord vs. 89ish Prelude

I was cruising along main street last nite and there was a slow car infront of me and so i switched lanes and ending up pulling up behind about an 89 or so Honda Prelude. It was ugly and had a loud exhaust, tinted windows and maybe a stereo. So i pulled up beside it and the passenger noded to me. I was like, ok whatever. Then i switched lanes and came up on it's driver's side. Then we both came to a stoplight and they were talking to me ( i couldn't hear shit cuz of my stereo) so i rolled down my passenger window and they're like "WANNA RACE DUDE?" So i'm like "Ok" and nodded. So we both reaved our engines and the light turned green. We were about even as we slowly pulled away with our tires squeeling (and everyone looking at us) I didn't floor in 1st, but just gently accelerated..then i thought, what the hell, and floored the rest of first and flew threw 2nd and got to third....by the start of 2nd gear i was about 1 car length ahead of him..ANyways, it had to end because i had to make my left turn and we were already speeding. He did the ricer flyby as well with an angry look on his face...BAH HA HA:yes:

Wow, you gently accelerated and you still beat him? My old roomie had an '88 Si and it was pretty quick stock...
Nice kill though. What mods do you have?

No real mods..just good driving..lol.jj. ...I just have good accel on my car...it's sweet

I love my car man....i love 5 speeds...my friend is the luckiest kid in the world..His brother is getting married in the states and they are going to rent a DODGE VIPER!! My friend gets to drive it!!

umm nope not yet.....shes still going fine havent had any problems that I can notice .. so its all good:yes:
