As an IT professional, I know just about jack about my car ;) I hate being completely at the mercy of my mechanic, and I'd considered taking auto at Lincoln Tech at nights just to get a handle for Hondas. Being a professional in THAT field, would you have any recommendations on where to start? Thanks!

hey RSX
well first of all u can ask most of the guys/girls online most question and i think most of us dont mind answering .. second all the local libraries carry most of the books on certian cars..and then if that doesnt work maybe try to get friendly with a local garage and see if they can teach u a little .... night school sometimes ( always ) talk about theory no actual hands on stuff sometimes u need to get ur hands dirty to figure out whats goin on try this stuff but dont forget to ask even if it is small ..

Man is that the truth. Four years of school didn't teach my jack, so I don't know why I thought I'd get any hands on experience from a class anyhow. Thanks for the feedback, it's good to know there are folks out there that know what they're talking about. Peace.
