they look good. maybe you coulkd get rid of the amber bulb for the turn signal, and use a lower wattage one so the light will be yellow/amber when in use, and clear when the lights are off.

I'm not going to use clear bulbs cause the cops don't like that...

I was arrested twice when I used clear turn signal on my 91 Civic(removed the orange plastic)..

The procedure for clearing is very simple :
1-remove the bumper(4 screws and a couple of clips)
2-remove the headlamps
3-pre-heat your oven at 200 f
4-place 1 headlamp for 5 min in the oven..
5-pry it open
6-unscrew the lower light support
7-remove the orange
8-screw back the lower light support
9-put both pieces back in the oven for 1 min(I had to place them one at a time... they don't enter both...
10-put them back together...
11-reinstall...without plugging it the lower bulb(lool like crap)
12-do the same for the other one..
13-reinstall the bumper...

you got arested for having white bulbs ? that's crap man. i got pulled over for driving eratically, blue turn signals, but i got off with just a warning. the cop was trying to regognize who the hell i was 'cause he was sure i looked familiar to him, and he stopped me before. i told him i was doing valet p[arking for d&b and he's like: ohhh, ok go go go ! :D

I, like SilverCoupe, am a little hesitant to do the do-it-yourself thing.
1. Did baking your headlights damage them at all?
2. After re-baking them did they go back togehter easily?
3. Did you need additional adhesive (glue, silicone, etc)?
4. Did the orange strip come out easily in one piece, or is scraping necessary?

Accord Boy, I ended up doing it a couple of days ago and have explained it in a post I started...

Clearing Headlights on the 6th Gen Accord

To answer your questions...

Baking the headlights did not damage them. I put them in the oven, preheated at 200 for 7 minutes, which was perfect...the first headlight I did it for 5 minutes and it was much tougher.

Once you've opened them up, just be careful not to get any silicone or figerprints on the chrome (or fakey finish) cuz it's tough to get off. To ensure a good seal, once you've reheated em, you'll probably want to hold the headlight together for 10 minutes or so, till the silicone cools a bit.

I did use additional silicone, I bought clear silicone (waterproof of course) you can use RTV silicone, or bath and tile. I felt this was important because I removed some silicone while working through it and I wanted to ensure a good seal, so I wouldn't have any condensation.

The orange strip is actually two pieces. Once you've got the headlight open, remove two screws that house the chrome behind the orange strip. (careful not to get that dirty with fingerprints) at that point the orange strip will be exposed, you can just poke it through with ur finger and both pieces will pop out.

Check out the other thread for additional info and if you have any more specific questions, you can always message me directly.

Hope this helps. :)
