I'd love to be seeing a girl right now, but finding a girl who can be in a healthy relationship is harder then you might think. So im not enjoying being single but i'm learning to deal with it. Though i see some nice girls out there, I figure it might be sometime before i get to date one. Now thats something to ;( over.

Need....want....need....want....it all starts to look the same after a while. Arguing semantics, I would say want is the more appropriate word.

I do enjoy the freedoms of single life, however there are benefits to a relationship that just can't be enjoyed while single, and no I'm not just referring to the sack.

I want someone to share things with, who is interested in things I am but who also provides a touch of variety to my life with her own interests, someone to share a glass of wine with while watching a movie all evening, someone to cook for and with, someone to spoon with at night, someone to show me that girls aren't as bad as I've been thinking for the past few years.....ok, time to quit before I divulge all my desires. :eek:

Maybe my problem is really that I need a really close friend here, or maybe I just need a close girl friend.....either way, gots no close friends here and certainly got very few girl friends......oh the joys of knowing no women. And most of the girls I do know here are screwed in the head beyond belief that I don't even want to be friends with them. Don't get me wrong, I do recognize that all girls are screwed in the head. :D

See....back in high school most of my friends were girls, or at least my close friends were....then came college, 5 years of no girls....I mean, almost litereally no girls, not as friends, not as acquaintances, not as eye candy in class.....it's not just an institute, it's an institution. And now....the trend continues.

Time to go cry myself back to work! :D

erin we get the same kind of weather you get :yes: just in the winter we get a few more inches of snow, but last winter (if i can call it that) it was like spring most of the time. it was WHACK but turned out great.

I said all girls are screwed in the head mainly cuz I had a discussion about that with a girl friend of mine this past weekend and she and her friend just looked at me and proceeded to explain that they're all messed in the head.

I invite someone to prove them wrong. :)

I find WI better weather than Austin....ugh, too hot here. I'm actually considering going up to UW Madison for school in a few years....or maybe sooner, depends on my work situation.

I've noticed that the good girls have ahole boyfriends, and a lot of the nice guys have bad girlfriends.....*insert record scratch sound here*....back up patty wagon. I know a bunch of good guys and they're all single.....but I have seen lots of good guys shat upon by crappy girls. Gold diggers, bitches, hoes, little game players, etc......but ya know, it just seems to me like everyone has been complaining recently (I don't just mean on the board). All the girls are saying there's no good guys, all the guys are saying there's no good girls.

I did meet a couple very pretty girls this past weekend while doing more apt. shopping, but I lack the marbles to just ask a girl out. Hey, if you're half as pretty as those two girls and want to move to Austin, give me a call. :yes:

Maybe we should add a Personals forum so we can all shop around. ;)

Wi weather is actually getting better. Our winters are getting milder and its been 85 here the last couple of weeks. I stayed in Dallas for 2 weeks and loved it there.

girls are whack in the head...even you Erin. We're completely whacked....We have a couple different groups of guys we chill with, all having different personalities and likes. The one group of guys are totally guys that you can take home to mom and dad. Well when we met them, only one of them had a girlfriend...keep in mind there are like 6 of them...so that leaves us with 5 unbelieveable guys. And we're not interested in a single one as anything more than a really really close friend.
Girls are dumb. They don't want to date the guys they have as friends that treat them right because if the "serious" relationship doesnt work out, we don't want to loose them as a friend. It's ok if we loose a relationship where the guys treat us like shiz. but you know guys are whacked too. They are the same way. We tell you guys how bad your chick is treatin ya and you stay with her anyway just to get your heart broken. So all in all...we're all completely stupid. We'll get over all of this someday....just gotta be patient.

Ok, correction: I showed interest in one of the 6 decent guys from that group and nothing came of it because we both really weren't looking for a relationship and he also at the time hadn't graduated from college yet, and he had to go away to school. It's not that I'm worried so much about losing them as a friend, although I'll admit that's one of the reasons, but it's just that I'm not really attracted to them in that way.

but see i've been there donehat, she wouldn't let me go when I dumped her! All girls are ****ed up, they're so complicated, emotionally unstable creatures. That said, i still want one of my own :yes: i dunno why i do but i do, i guess it hardwired in me... theres nothing like when you make your girl laugh or she gives you a little kiss 'cause she thinks what you just did was cute.

grrr i must admit i'm getting more done, without a gf. but i think thats just because the last girl i dated wanted me around 24/7. I just want to find a normal girl, but i know thats a tough request to fill!
