If i remove the EX symbol on the back of my 96 civic will there be holes?

Nope just some sticky glue stuff that can be easily removed.

Very true. If you have problems with the glue, get some glue gone. It works great.

yeah, except there wont be. 96 civecs just used glue.

nope. just some gooey nasty glue. i removed mine. the only thing you have holes for is the rear honda emblem
