WHat gives? The S2000 is a sweet car. Why get rid of it. Anyone else have info on this developement?

Havnt hearda bout it but i dont think its true Come on they havnt even released the hardtop what makes you think they gonna get rid of it??

I don't want to see it go. The hard top will be sweet. I am eagerly anticipating that. But, its just a rumor that I heard. Hopefully, its not going to happen.

Why wouldnt they take it???

Japan takes all the good cars away from us after teasing us with them for a couple of years or so..:(

i saw the mugen honda s2000 in car and driver yesterday at school it has a hard top its f*cking awesome

That top was a Carbon Fiber top from Mugen(about $3500), and not a OEM top.. But your right that car was sweet..;)

the S2000 won't be discontinued after 2003...
their not allowed....and honda hasn't even released the hard top here yet. I don't think they would be that stupid?

I'm with you on that. Why get rid of the car? It is a great car that many people love. What does honda have to gain by getting rid of the S2000? My answer is nothing.

Your not the only one that wants it. It will be a shame if they do indeed discontinue it. I just can't see it happening anytime soon.

another reason why they can't discontinue the s2000 is bekause they haven't made a conversion kit to drop that engine into my civic;)

They can;t discontinue the S2K until I can afford one at least....

I just think it would be dumb to stop production of them yet especially since a hardtop model hasn't been released...
