I was wondering which company made the most powerful cat back system that looked closest to stock and not like a bee can. I don't really want it to be loud, I just want the performance. I have noticed a lot of posts about Apexi and Greddy, both of those appear to be really big exhausts, I don't want to smack it while going over a speed bump. Thanks for the help.

apexi ws comes to mind... quiet and stock looking but all the performance gains from aftermarket equipment.
i think its the WS it should be their cheaper line. (go figurehttp://members.directvinternet.com/maxvla/laugh.gif)
yeah its the World Sport (WS) heres a link http://www.apexi-usa.com/exhausts_ws.asp
ive looked around on the web and most places are charging about 350-450 for the cat-back WS. retail is like 600 bucks so unless you've got pals at a speed shop, i'd suggest getting it online and either installing it yourself or have a shop put it on for ya.

If you want to retain a stock look and experience performance gains, I'd suggest going with a Brullen. Here are some pics of my installation. Note that the tips are polished (chrome-like) aluminium when clean... I just don't polish them too often.

When you say "quiet" do you mean as quiet as stock? Between my edelbrock and CAI my car is *way* too loud, and I don't want to ditch the CAI...

its louder than stock... but waaaaaay quieter than the fart tips everyone is sporting these days. it makes good power too.

They're a medium-sized company based in Toronto that makes high quality exhaust systems. 100% stainless steel, lifetime warranty, and a sound that equals or betters GReddy's. There are 4 or 5 of us (maybe more nowadays!) in the TAC with this system and we're pretty happy with it. You can get it in any combination of pipe diameters or muffler styles, but most of us chose the chambered muffer with dual 3" polished tips and 2.5" piping. They can tune the sound as well, so it can be fairly quiet without sacrificing any performance (compared to their loudest models).
Here's a list of available exhausts:

And some vendor info:
