'91 Integra LS motor in '89 Civic... Problems.. Need Help

Hey, my friend just took his '91 Integra LS motor and swapped it into his '89 Civic hatch. He says it runs smooth & everything but it's not as fast as when it was in his Integra. Do these 2 cars have different fuel pumps... would that make a difference? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help.

changing the fuel pumps just makes it run smoother....i recommend using the ls fuel pump and see how it runs, but it wouldn't make a difference as fars as how fast it is....peace
