I was the same as you a few months ago dont know what I am doing either, but now I know quite a bit. I just got done redoing my whole interior and I am damn proud of it because I do it all by myself. First of all, go buy a Helm's manual for your car, the book will cover everything and how to remove all the part that you want to know and it's the easiest way. You can get it at any local auto parts store (Pep Boys).

Remember to be really patient during the painting or else you will screw up just like me when I first started. After removing the peices that you want, clean it up first and let it dry before you paint. You can get some vinyl paint at Pep Boys or Kragen for about $5/can. If you prefer to go with the expensive vinyl paint, you can look at JCW. Hope this might help a bit and good luck, post some pictures when you're done.

just look for the screws... rule of thumb is..if the peice doesnt come out easily and seems stuck.. chances are theres a hidden screw somewhere holding it in... its not that bad to take things out.. its just a pain to get to some screws... you'll be fine

make sure u have some type of magnet with u...my cousin had one with him on like a 10 inch long flexible handle..when we ripped my interior apart...god..it saved soo many screws from being lost....
