Has anyone ever taken out there back seats for less weight and i guess better acceleration.. does it work? or is it just a waste of time? i've seen some civics with the whole back gutted out and there so quick! anyone with an accord tried it??

dude the setas are not that heavy, so i don't se a reason to mutilate the car

ahhh all right someone told me ya there like two hundred pounds i'm LIKE WHAT ur kidding me the guy ...i guess had no idea what he was talking about.. iwas like if 60 maybe..meh i dunno i'll have to check on that...... plus i hate more then 2 people in my cAR lol :mad: hmmmm maybe i can mount the NOS back there!! heheheh now theres an idea! :yes:

I took my seats out. I dont think accord seats are much heavier.. but there is no noticeable difference.. except bass sounds like sh*t cuz theres nothing to absorb the sound. Keep the seats in.. they dont weigh much

the only reason i would ever take back seets out is because i get all creeped out when people are looking over my shoulder

and save like 20 pounds at most.. not worth the effort and time... unless of course you gonna add something real nice back there.... like 2 big bottles of laughing gas... hahaha
or like 6 15's subs... :eek:

There are only 2 reasons I would take the back seats out.

1. So I don't have to drive others....

2. So I don't have to driver others....

i ran a 13.7 with full interior and street tires. the next time i went to the track i hit 13.7 with the back seats out. not much progress, but it helps if you totally strip the car down and have hella HP
