Hello!
I've bought an Honda Civic '88 and I want to replace the engine.
Does a '92 1.6 V-tec engine fit in my Honda civic 16V 1.5 '88?
Do I have to make big modifications?
Please excuse my bad english, I'm from Sweden...

well i think it will fit I"ve heard of B18's going into 85 civics...so i don';t think that will be a problem.....u might not have any room to put mods in though (turbo, CAI, etc)...someone else will have to help on this too..

its possible swap.. Nohing too hard.
One of my buddies did a 99si (dohc vtec) swap into a 89 hatch. It was tight though..
so it shoudlnt be too had to fit in the sohc.
You'll probably need custom mounts.

Yes it fits, It'll bolt right in. You don't need motor mounts or anything. Is it a DX?? You'll have to convert the wiring. Since its an '88 you'll need a new tranny I believe, I know the CRX's do.
