can i just take the head off and put it on my F22? or do i need the whole engine...I don't want a $4000 (canadian) H22 so ya i just want Vtec for now in my engine

it works like an ls/vtec. you would need the ecu, head and etc.

WAY more trouble and money than its worth, if it would even work... Go to a junkyard and pick up an EX engine for not much money at all.

H22's with trannys are somewhere around 2000-3000 USD depending on the mileage.

i guess i'll just go and steal a prelude engine with those prices !;) anyway if i wanna buy a rebuilt f22 is gonna cost me around the same price for the short block, with no headcover, no maniforld, no tranny, no nothing, just the block and the head

im telling ya accord owners, you just dont know what your missing with the h22 untill you get it. you'll never regret the pains of doing a f22 head swap. you'll get MAYBE 150hp out of the f22, where the h22 is 200 out of the box.
