Hey guys, i have a 94 accord EX 4dr and want to install an intake, but i'm not gonna spend the frickin 200 or so bucks for a nice intake. So, i'm gonna build one, got a website that describes the installation, but it's for a del sol, i know i need to make some modifications. Anyone know what the size of the stock intake pipe is on the Accord, 2.5 or 3?? Or does it really matter...

I am 99% sure that its 2.5" going into the TB, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You might be right, but I thought that Preludes had 3" and we had 2.5 for some reason.

Stefan said he would, and I'm just too lazy. Besides, I don't have calipers to accurately measure :paranoid:

well, maybe the lx is 2.5 and ex is 3, that might make sense, considering the ex has better exhaust, makes, sense to have a bigger intake...

don't forget i have the f22a1 beast under the hood. maybe that was the only generation where they had the 2.5" intake.

don't know guys but i measured my ointake and for the 4th generation it is 2.5". looking at the aem specs page the bypass valve is the same for the 4 bangers, so i assume all the accords have a 2.5" intake

Yeah, my BPV is 2.5", so I say all accord AEM CAIs are 2.5"
