Any of you red bull fans?

My stepdad has opened distributorships in 3 different states now and it seems to be going good. I just like to hear people's opinions on it. I remember the first time i drank it, it was hot and i damn near puked up everything I had in me.

The first time I tried it, I thought it was an abomination to the human taste bud.

Then I developed a liking for it, drank it to keep me up late at night in the labs while at school, etc. Then drank it to keep me awake at work.......

But now, I won't touch that stuff. I still think it tastes good and all, but it just can't be good for you. I'm tryin to eat/drink healthier now, and that's one of the things I've cut out completely.

I never got wings, though......

I can tell you it won't get any cheaper. Stores only make 50 cents a can off the thing.

Spoogenet-I thought the same thing. I mean it's basically drinking a coke. It's fine for you in moderation. I've read about people that say the same thing. It has been tested many times. I swear it dosen't help me at all. I just like the taste of it now.

we have red bull over here everyone likes it i myself havent tried it yet but have been planning to the only "energy drink in a can'' ive had was a can of whoop @$$ lol :D

Yeah its good stuff... of course, so are most energy drinks that come in 8oz. cans that charge $2... I would HOPE that a quarter an ounce would get me some good beverage...:D

First off, it's FAR from drinking a Coke. Red Bull not only has lots more caffeine, it also has taurine, b-12, and who knows what else. I've heard mixed things about b-12, such as it's good and bad for you.....not sure about taurine, but I know it's for energy. I'm surprised they don't put guarana in it, but that gives you green poo.

RB is popular in the bars these days, mixed with vodka. I guess it'll help you stay awake after drinking heavily.

I've drank some before some rides, and sometimes I felt it gave me more energy, other times I felt it made my heart race....I don't like having a racing heart.

If you drop by the Asian markets you can pick up RB for Asia, it's non carbonanted and is much sweeter than the RB sold for the US market.....I think I prefer the US version.

i had it once after a 10 hr shift and going for another 6 hr shift at work. i can say that i was really able to handle all the work without falling asleep. and my work requires some serious running.

Heard of it but like a few others have no intentions of trying it! Energy drinks blow all that caffiene just kills the body! And not to mention that after the inital caffiene rush my body just drops( found that out after stayin up 36 hours workin most of those (dont ask)) i also read somwhere i think it was a mens health magazine that they are doin research and its been found to cause some serious complications i dont remeber what though!


EDIT: I would like to clarify so as not to lie i drink one caffenie drink a day either a cherry or vanilla coke other then that water and juice for me! And damn the body feels good after you knock out the caffiene

This chinese lady who owns this little mart around the corner from where I live sells me a can for 1.25. I am an avif drinker of the stuff. I even once bought a case of the stuff at Smart and Final.

When I still had my job, these two people came in packin a cooler full of that stuff. They asked if we were interested in trying it. We told em we couldnt sell it or anything, but all of the employees tried it.Three of us each cracked open a can and took a big swig at the same time. We both had the same look on our faces. We all looked at the ingredients and compared them to several of our cleaning solvents. No matches, but man that stuff was crazy tastin!

I just had a can of it for the first time. It was only $1.30 @ WinCO food store, so I thought I'd give it a try. It tastes weird, not necessarily bad, but just strange. I guess I'll see if I sprout wings now ;)

Like i said, no way it's going down. Hell my stepdad is a distributor and pays a buck a can for it. And in turn they sale it for 1.50 a can to stores.

You get a hell of a lot more SOBE than you do Red Bull. SOBE is good stuff.
