This is a question of a newbie, but i know I'm not. this car is my first standard Honda, I'm having a hell of a problem getting the shifter off, I don't want to have to shift with the rod.
Any suggestion would be appreciated
Thanks

I just got a new shift knob, but really can't figure out how to get that one off, I'm figuring the boot has to come off to get to the sleeve thats used to hold it tight. I can't ge the boot off.
Thanks

The boot is connected to the shift knob. I tried unscrewing the knob and the boot started turning with it. That's why I gave up and started this thread.
Thanks
