Im caught in a dilema. I can either get the basic parts for my accord (rims,strut/sway bars, intake, headers, exhaust, pulleys, ground effects) that wont really make it alot more powerful --its the 150HP manual 4door....... or I could use the money to get s street bike. I dont really want to spend a total of 10K$ (including a new turbo) for a car that wont handle as well as a coupe would and definately wont be as fast as a coupe. So what would you guys do, use the money for the accord or use it for a street bike. They bike will probably be a Yamaha R6.

Depends on how much you wanna mod your car..
Making an Accord fast is quiet an expensive task. IMO, if you're not going to go all the way, then dont waste any money on it..
Maybe improve the look..
Get the bike.

Hmm, if i had $10K and a '02 accord i would buy a 92-95 civic hatch or 3rd gen Integra, drop in a new engine and turbocharge it, but that's just me

Are you an experience street bike rider? Just curious, because from what I've read, the R6 isn't the best beginner bike. You'd probably want to start with a used bike, because you will set it down sometime. Anyway....
I'd get a bike and not mess with the Accord.

Ive been riding MX bikes for about ten years. I went on a yamaha forum and some of them said that just as long as i respect the bike I will be fine (all of these guys have R1s) If I got the bike id probably get a 99.

dude i wouldn't mess with the accord, unless you wanna turbo it. get the turbo and forget the body work, work a bit on the suspension and spank some civics. they would have no clue where they were hit from stock looking accord ?

i have a hard time saying forget the honda... but the bike idea sounds fun. you'll get more out of the bike experience then you will the honda. unless you plan on swapping a h22a with a turbo/intercooler and making a sleeper. which is my dream.
