Ok, I want everyone to help with this. I had the way I was going to make my system in my trunk all picked out and everything, but my subs are too big for it to work that way. So now I'm leaving it all up to you guys to design the set-up in my trunk, I'll pic the one I like the best and do it. All out of wood, no fiberglass, and maybe a little plexi-glass work, nothing fancy and no plexi on the speaker box. Pics are greatly appreciated. Here's what we have to work with: two 15" subs
two amplifiers Dimensions: 10.95"W x 2.3"H x 8.3"L
one amplifier Dimensions: not sure, but a little smaller than other two

to properly design a box, we need models and brands of the equipment you plan to install.

you guys don't need the specs, you can just show me pics and explain how you like it and I can make it work!

you guys don't need the specs
is that a joke? oh no, you're right. no specs needed, but don't complain if your trunk o' funk ends up sounding like sh!t...

do you want us to design one or just give you ideas for arrangement? cause if you want design we need specs. if just arrangement why do you need us anyways? just start moving stuff around literally or in your head.

I want ideas of where to make the custom box, where to put the amp rack, maybe put the amps in the floor, stuff like that. Jeez, 3 other web boards got the idea and started telling me exactly what I wanted to know. You guys are gay except you Maxvla :)
then get outta here...nobody wants you around here...all you do is critisize the way people think and what they're doing.
It's not our job to design some stuff for you...we don't want you here.
why don't you ask for some help...instead of saying...I'm a dolt so design my set-up for me.
man you piss me off so much...get a life

Myself, why the hostility?
we're just trying to help you.. and some of us are knowledgeable enough to do more than simply dish out ideas.. If you really dont like this board, feel free to leave.. No one is holding you down. But please be respectful.
Now to the point.
You must understand that different subs will require different enclosure types/sizes, and that obviously needs to be taken into account.. right?
And should we plan for subs that perform better facing the front or the rear?
what about the power of the sub.. a 1000wrms sub will need a sturdier enclosure than a 100wrms sub.
You probably see where I'm going with this.. So wanna share some specs?

Well I'm studying to get my Installer & Mobile Product Specialist certifications! So I know what I'm doing and I'm not going to make it incorrectly. I come on here and ask for ideas on what would look cool and stuff like that and these guys are telling me that I'm stupid and I don't know what I'm doing and I'm going to make it sound like shit and stuff. I'm not stupid, I plan on doing this for a living so I'm not gonna make it sound like crap. I was just hoping that someone would like to design my trunk and see it finished and looking nice and say "that was my idea" but whatever.

how about a couple 15's one on each side of the trunk. then a couple 15's in plexi behind the rear seat with some strobes or neon, amp rack which is motorized (or hydraulically lifted) to lift up and reveal your eq and caps and power distribution below minimal wiring showing plexi'd with a panel on hinges to adjust the eq. depending on the color of your car i'd go with red or blue neons all around pulsing with the bass. all finished off with a marbled red/blue paint job.
then step back from the car and admire the house sized a/c unit you must attach to the roof of your car to cool everything back there... lol. after that add a turbo and nos to make up for the lost speed due to all that weight.
you asked for ideas... well there you go! also hope you have some $$$.
ps... i'd never do that to my car... but it would certainly look sweet.

naa, that's too much. Sounds tight, but way too much for my taste. I was just thinking about something simple and clean like this http://images.cardomain.com/installs/107000-107999/107555_39.jpg

10%? i think i went about 500% over.
you don't have any marbled paint, flashing strobes, pulsing neon, motorized/hydraulic amp rack, huge roof mounted a/c (just a joke), 2 less 15's... 500% sounds about right.
