Manual Trans Ratings

Having already built a Monte Carlo SS that went through transmissions quicker than tires, I need to know where I stand.
I've got a 2002 V-tec with a 5-speed. Before I start playing, how much power will the drive train take? Is this the same trans as a Type-R?

i've heard that the auto tranny will take up to 255 hp, but never heard anything about manuals. might be the same thou. in case something goes wrong check www.levelten.com
