ya actually that's the wrong fish. the christian "fish" is always supposed to be facing the left. i believe that when it faces the right and has feet like that they're just making fun of our "fish" and it stands for other stuff, like evolution and darwin and all that stuff. :|

**STORY** I just got back from a week off of work, I'm a department Supervisor at home depot, where I were a J-sus fish on my apron... My first day back and one of my employee's Wayne, has a DARWIN fish drawn on his apron, eating a littler ***** fish... well I told him it's offensive and to get a new apron. But I was seriously kinda offended cuase that was aimed solely at me, and the J fish on my apron. But I was professional, and just made him change it.


Also a J-sus fish can point in either direction.

**Here is the story behind the ***** Fish**
Came from one of the many Fisherman story of ***** in the Bible. It was first used by early christians who suffered under persecution for christianity.. They had to keep all thier meetings and church services secret, and often moved location every time they met. The Fish was used to direct people to the meeting secretly. If I were a christian, who didn't know where the meeting was I would draw a arch in the sand with my foot, being the top line of the fish. The person who was directing traffic would complete the fish and draw the bottom line or arch of the fish in whichever way the meeting was. So the fish would point right if the meeting was to the right, or left if the meeting was to the left. So the Christian fish can point to either direction. Though its more common on cars to point left.


So Max, did you know that, that was a Darwin fish???

The darwin fish, could be viewed more as a sign of a false god, or the lack of a god at all. It's just a way for people to express that they don't believe any god exist. It doesn't actually mean that they have evil tendencies or worship the devil.
People have a right to believe what ever they want, even if it doesn't make any sense.

4jacks thanks for putting the story of the "fish". i know that's all true, i read it too (haha, it comes in the back of the label it comes in) anyways, although it is true, i have also heard that the reason its supposed to point to the left is to represent that we as Christians should flow away from the crowd...be the light of the world and stand out from the rest and go against what the World sees as right. that is why it should point to the left (since most fishes are always drawn to point to the right). but that doesn't mean it's evil and from the devil if it's pointing the wrong way. the darwin fish isn't evil, it's just reflecting a person's belief in no God and belief of evolution...

Darwin fish is just a little spinoff; I don't think that's evil. Not to open this worm can further, but there *are* people who accept evolution as a scientific theory and believe in g-d or consider themselves Christian (or Jewish, or Moslem, or Buddhist, or Aramaic Orthodox - all sects that *could* conflict with the Darwinist theory but don't *have* to).

Anyone who really says that they are a christian and claims to believe in evloution, Just really isn't a christian. Christianity is the most popular religion in our country.. (countries for you Canadians) .. Evloution is also the most accepted theory on how the world came about. Christianity contradics evloution and flat out say that Evloution didn't happen and even states the theory of creation. A big part of christianity is a leap of faith, or blind faith. We cannot see god, and we can't have a conversation with him. We must simply pure our hearts out to him, and ask for faith. When given faith.. you take the Bible as a whole, you can not seperate the bible and say, this part is true, but I don't wanna believe that part, becuase it say's I can't sleep with my cousin. You either Accept the bible as a whole and as the truth, or you deny it. J-sus said he was the son of god and the only way too heaven, you can't say, I believe j-sus will get me to heaven and them nice buddisht are bound to come, just cause they live good lives. Becuase that is not what J-sus said, you are making J-sus out to be a liar, and can not possible understand christianity. same thing with evolution, J-sus came and said this is my word, you can accept it as such, or if you reject any PART of it, you might as well reject the hole.
