Increase acceleration?

Ok, I love my civic, but I really want to increase the acceleration. Sometimes it seems peppy and accelerates quite well, but then other times it seems sluggish...any ideas?

lightened flywheel or aftermarket flywheel will cure your problems...the flywheel helps with the rotational inertia of the engine or in english, it helps it accelerate faster...Be careful though, an aluminum flywheel will sweeten your ride... but does have side affects.. like modulating your clutch w/ higher RPMs when in parking situations.. the need to downshift more often..

supercharge it...anyways, you can change out the torque convertor in the transmission..try this (http://www.levelten.com)
