I was just wondering if anybody could tell me about how much a CRX would run me??

Right now I've got a 97 altima gxe, I love the car and all, but modding it is damn expensive compared to modding a crx, and with the engine swap, intake, exhaust etc on a CRX it'll be much faster, so I'm thinkin about switchin over.

On a side note, are they 4 lug or 5 lug?? I dont wanna sell my wheels...

Thanks

6 months or so ago, I was almost going to switch to a 90 crx si, and the guy was asking 3,000. What i've noticed on all crxs in my area (middle of IL) is that they tend to go from 2,500 to 4,000. 4,000 being sold with "mods". They're never really mods; just stickers, fart exhausts, and "aftermarket" pedals and shifters.

I'd rather mod it myself, I'd be better off getting an unmodded one and doing all the stuff myself, more fun that way anyways, I just found out I can get about 7 grand for my car, probably another 1 and a half if I sell it with wheels and system and all the other goodies I've done to my car.

So that leaves maybe 4 grand to mod after registration and that stuff, I could do a helluva lot to a CRX with that...

Good luck with that. I envy you, I would love to have a crx and money to put into it. I justcan't seem to let go of my first and only car, though.

And you're right, it is more rewarding to do all the mods yourself. So far, i've done most of the electrical mods in my car and it is so nice when you know it works.
