steering wheel cover

now that it's getting really hot here, i suffer a lot with steering wheel burns! i wanted to ask if anyone else has those steering wheel covers..like cloth ones. i know they sell leather type ones, but those still get so hot. i used to have a black one, but they kinda look cheap. do u all think they look cheap?

yea i know what you mean... but what i do is that i try to park in the shade and put up a shield for the windshield so the sun doesn shine in.....
as well if im at home i just take a cold wet rag to cool off the wheel and the knob....

ya i know they do look like poo :D but geez, even when i park in the shade it's still so darn hot! i live in the desert, it's hard to get away from the heat. and my skin is so darn sensitive, i even burned my hands touching my own hair once!!

do you have tinting in your front left/right mirrors?

i think that helps some on mine... but it still gets hot cuz the windshield isnt tinted.

Maybe if you get tinting and also use a sunshielding thing for your windshield it wont be that bad.

its still pretty hot up here too.. but we get snow.. and thats good...

The ones that work the best are those Foam ones.. thier super comfy .. and never get hot... but yeah... they look like poo
