AIC was one of the last few good bands...makes me wonder what's in store for the future.

Dude... Don't be an ass. The guy is dead. Have some respect. Yeah, he had a drug problem- but that's no reason to not have respect for the dead. If you don't have anything nice to comment on about someone being dead, please keep it to yourself.

But didn't you notice? He hates people!
Anyway, for those of us who were the right age in the early 90s (and cared), there were five people (and five bands) who were pretty important, and Staley/AIC was one of them... and you don't have to listen to much music written since then to hear the influence.
